Liam is now only one short ceremony away from graduating, which means that he is also only one short hiring away from having a job. Or not so short. What a time to be reading absolutely everywhere that there basically are no jobs. At all. Especially not for people our age. Even the Bush twins seem to be having trouble, and their daddy is the American President.
Anybody got any leads on an entry level position for a slightly-nerdy, Honours English major and former Editor-In-Chief?
We are going to keep optimistic, and basically whore ourselves out to any company that looks halfway decent, just to get that foot in the (incredibly heavy) door (that will just as likely snap our leg off at the knee as give us a decent dental plan).
Also If anyone’s got any illustration or graphic design work that they need done by a professional, but can’t actually afford one, I’m your girl. I may even do it for free if you ask nicely. That’s right, the first ones free, because after that you’ll be hooked.
