check it, yo

dollarama purim party
My very first concert poster!
I will fully admit to stealing the image off the internet, but this was a last minute, for internet purposes only kinda-dealie.
Hopefully next time, I’ll have the time to actually illustrate something pretty.
Hopefully, there will be a next time.
Also, see this article in the star and the band’s myspace.
I hoping we’ll make it to the party, but we have to decide between it, and a Rhett Miller show at the exact same time a few blocks away.
Inebriated Jews, or adorable alt country boy…
It’s gonna be a tough choice.

I am going to be honest and say someting that almost needs to be said: that newspaper article was almost nauseating to read.

I used the word “almost” twice. I am bad at being blunt.

Nauseating because it’s so stupid, or nauseating because you didn’t come up with it first?

  4. travis says:

Because it is stupid. Smart minds could be put to much better use.

I agree on the mutual love of black, white, and pink. I’m branding my design services with those colors in mind, too. Logo sneaky peaky:

I like the informal, slightly retro feel to your header. And I just noticed you dig serif’d fonts for your body too. Neat. Vulcan mind meld!

The interesting thing about non repro blue pencil’s color is that it is the perfect match for a triadic color set with the green and pink that I used in my logo. It all looks swanky together.

    In closing, tag, you’re it.

It didn’t show in the blog (I think that’s true across the board for WordPress unless modified).
