As an interesting addendum to yesterdays Sneaky Dee’s post, there’s an article in The Star today about the state of our Mexican food in Toronto.
The general consensus is that it’s not good.
I would agree with that.
It’s definitely one of the few cuisine that this town is sorely lacking in…
Although there are small, relatively authentic taco shops tucked into back corners of this town that aren’t bad (I know there’s a good place in Kensington Market somewhere).

Let me be the first to say that this article is completely irrelevant without the mention of Taco El Asador at Bloor and Christie.

According to a quick Google search, the heritage of that place is El Salvadorian, so does not technically count when it comes to Mexican food.
But it looks like it might be pretty good anyways.

There’s an AMAZING place on College street called the Burrito Bar … I highly suggest you go there!
