The plaster didn't peel off. Only the topcoat did. The specific, branded Venetian Plaster topcoat for the specific, branded Venetian Plaster. Turns out it wasn't water proof like it implied it was (it started bubbling as soon as we took a shower or two). This is likely a faulty product. Nope. The plaster didn’t peel off. I had some similar issues when I did my bathroom -- and I think that's why the kitties were able to cause so much damage!
