Though I would have to more of a West Coast, hip-flask-in-holster, Tracer Bullet type of gumshoe who doesn't have time to get tied down to any one dame, so I don't know that you'd approve. There'd be eight slugs in me, one lead, the rest bourbon. Oh, and that dog bit Myrna Loy during filming apparently. And you would totally win on the parody side, as we both know that I think Maggie Smith is the funniest part of that movie. After Peter Sellers.
