You've made me want to go underwear shopping now...
And have a craving for mojitos. Excited already.

(Also, as a sidenote, I saw Speedracer and liked it!)

Also: I apologize if any of you saw Speed Racer because of me, and didn't like it. I stand by my review of it, but admit that it's not for everyone (like those who want a little more substance over their style, or who aren't familiar with japanese pop art, or in touch with their inner child).

Wall-E, on the other hand, IS for everyone. It's so adorable. And heart warming. You'd have to be a robot not to like it (and even then, given the subject matter, you'd still probably shed a tear). I'm glad you're all planning on seeing it, you won't regret it!

P.S. The new Pixar short is possibly even better than the movie itself. Totally worth the price of admission.

Courtney, you do have a point. The low self esteem brought on by bra shopping is possibly canceled out by high self esteem found in the wearing of a new bra.

Although I am still saddened that the ones I want to buy (inevitably by Calvin Klein - the only brand out there that seems to make underwear that is fashionable and girly without being ludicrously so - covered in lace, bows, rhinestones etc.) are never in my size. So I end up with something plain from some old-lady brand.

Don't get me started on La Senza. Those bras are crap. The under wire always pops out, and the sizing is way, way off (I've tried on identical bras in the same size and had them be alternately too small and too big).

There will be a party that you can make it to at some point. One not so last minute. One probably in August. One possibly involving mojitos.

Some girls (like me!) love shopping for bras because it is inevitably followed up by the first time you get to wear it, and wearing new underwear is one of my favourite days, right up there with clean sheet day!

Also, the dinner party sounds lovely and delicious. I am still disappointed I missed it. I have eaten far too much mediocre grocery store sushi as of late. I think I forget what good sushi tastes like...

i want to see wall-e and i don't even like animated movies. although the posters make it seem like "short circuit" from the 80s! hooray for meeting your neighbours and realizing that you've both got a focus on how you want to live. i feel the same way.
