I just bought a little packet of mixed seeds from the garden supply store. They were awesome, because I got a bunch of varieties for very little money, and it was a pleasant surprise to see what popped up. The packet was from McKenzie seeds, and the variety was called "rainbow blend."

I'd recommend starting them pretty early though. They are a bit slower than the regular seedlings you get at the store. We only started ours in April, I believe, and we probably should have started in March (at least).

O.M.G! Am so jealous right now. I absolutely LOVE heirloom tomatoes and cannot wait to grow them next year...Where did you get the seeds/seedlings? Any variety that you like more than others?

Yeah, they pretty. I'm definitely growing them again next year.

Christine: I think I like the other one better. It's more me. I love banners.

I think that one is more you though (and admittedly much more reasonably priced).

(I saw this, and thought of you: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=13065519 not as nice as the banner ones you mentioned liking earlier, but cheaper, and customizable)
